Canada Infrastructure Bank

Alongside the Government of Alberta, and a running list of irrigation districts, the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) is a major funder of the Alberta Irrigation Expansion and Modernization Project. Ehren Cory, CEO of the CIB released the following statement about the project on the CIB website:

“The CIB is pleased to have increased our investment in the irrigation districts project to $466 million. Modern infrastructure is critical to the farmers working Alberta’s agricultural sector, improves water resource management and supports the province’s economy.”
